Aircraft Won't Smoke
|

|
| Hitting "I" does nothing in those
aircraft models that are supposed
to "smoke".
Am I missing something in a cfg file or ???
Thanks -

The only aircraft for which I've seen the smoke command work is the Extra
300S that comes with FS2004. It is a stunt plane that, in theory, one could
use to perform some skywriting.

There must be `smoke nodes' defined in the Aircraft.cfg file..
Also must have the EFFECT file present in the /effects folder.
[Smokesystem]
smoke.0 = 2.40, -125.5, -9.3, fx_smoke //10 ft behind thrust
smoke.1 = 1.60, -140.5, 0.0, fx_smoke //15 ft " "
smoke.2 = 2.40, -125.5, 9.3, fx_smoke //10 ft " "

| Statistically speaking, the aircraft will live much longer if it doesn't.
