| I have made a website with suggestions for FS flights. Many places are
inspired by posts from this forum. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice site, Jes, but I have a question.
Does the carrier really exist in FS9? AKAIK, it was removed in FS9.

Really suberb web site: clean and simple design (as most web sites are not).
BTW you might like to tidy it up technically:

There is one aircraft carrier in the Flight Simulator 2004 - A Century of
Flight default scenery:
Carrier name Directions
CVN-63 Kitty Hawk Fly west out of San Francisco International Airport.
I proceeded nearly 200nm on radial 270 SFO (115.8)
After exeeding SFO reception range (aprox 50nm) continued
under 0 Wind on heading 270
night VMC, extreme fire visibility, 2000' GND.
Not a glimpse of CVN-63 until far beyond Warning Area-250.
Radial 270 contains 15,6° east Variation.
Does http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;870628
mean true west ?
Any more precise navigational data here to intercept CVN-63 ?

Like I write on my page http://www.simtours.net/aircraftcarrier.php the
carrier is 13 nm at (magnetic) heading 288 from KSFO. You may track VOR SFO
radial 288 outbound as well.

Thanks Jes, for precise info.
Also saw your page now. Very good.
I'll do another attempt.
