Author adding wav file...

How can I add this wav file to FS9?
I made a announcement file, named "pass1.wav" and want to hear it when the
plane B737 [default] reaches 20000 ft level.
What adjustments do I have to make in FS9 to let it work?

Since no one else has answered, I will give you my simi-expert answer.

You can't (to my knowledge) do that. Those functions are hard coded into
the .mdl file. The .mdl files are compiled and therefore not accessible to
the user.

I'm afraid you'll have to keep your eye on the altimeter and when you reach
20k just say it out loud yourself. ;-)

Since no one else has agreed with Dallas, I am agreeing with Dallas !!

Though you can get an announcement add-on from avsim with switches, just hit
the switch when you are ready, you can record about 10 (from memory)

There is a german freeware-tool named "flusifix", which can do this for you.

http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/english.htm

A really must have for everybody, fixes all the bad things...

Oh great...that's the last thing people want: an aircraft shouting at them
in German! That's almost as bad as an Airbus calling the pilot "retard"!

:-)))

Sorry....I couldn't help myself. I'm Dutch! ;-)

In the USA, ATC sometimes says... "report `the bus' in sight..!!"

Flight 232 response : "Jet 232.. have the bus in sight.."

Interesting that you mentioned that. I have the same callouts in some of
the panels I have downloaded without installing anything new.

The first plane that I ever heard those callouts from, was the great Dash 7.
Ever since I installed that plane and panel (great panel by the way) I have
had those callouts on most of the commercial planes I fly including the
Airbus.

No "adjustment" to FS9 is required at all. What you need is to build a
gauge that will play the sound file for you at the appropriate time.

Search at avsim.com or flightsim.com for a GPWS gauge, then modify the
sounds as appropriate for your needs.
