Here's a couple of examples I sent to Chrstian @ Red Baron to try and lay a
finger (fist!) on my conflicting mesh problems for NZ...
Weird or what??? Only extra thing I ever added was FSG Pacific Islands 76M
mesh, and it's been uninstalled, so it's a real mystery...
I'm inquiring if there's a chance the 20M mesh may override anything else,
but don't want to pop for the $$ without some reassurance!
Some shots were with the topography scenery only, mesh only, both..
Oh well, it's kept me out of the bars, alleys, and playgrounds for a few
days anyway.....

I've been all of those places recently -- never saw anything remotely
like that!

I woke up this morning thinking about your pics, Don. It looks to me
like you've got some rogue mesh interfering. Have you installed Stock's
76m mesh and what priority did you give it? (Low number = high
priority.)

Don, I had a few minutes before class so I was looking at your
screenshots again. I see two anomalies here: bumps of water and strips
of land in the middle of lakes and rivers. Sometimes there really are
sandbars and such! But those are wrong. Makes me wonder if you might
have a landclass issue here. For example, maybe you are using the
default landclass, which is assigning water to places there should be
land. (This was the main reason that Ultimate Terrain had to include a
landclass.) Do you have Stock's NZ landclass installed yet? If not,
does installing it help?

PROBLEM FIXED! Got a reply from Christian @ Red Baron just hours after
sending him the screenies for a diagnosis. If I didn't have tunnel vision,
and would have read his support advise on the Topo Scenery page, rather than
concentrate on the mesh page, I could have caught it myself, but....
Anyhow, the installer, for some ?? reason, didn't rename several dozen files
in the scenery/world/ocean folder to disable the default water. So -
uninstalled, reinstalled (3rd time), and everything worked as planned. Was
considering the 20M mesh, but found it's only available on CD for an extra
15 euro, on top the 40 euro for the mesh (discounted from 45 since I already
had Topo), and decided the 75M looks pretty damn good!!! d:-> ))

Aussies feel at home???

Thanks for posting the fix. So often we don't see the answers to people's
questions or whether suggestions were succesful, so we don't get any wiser.
