Another suggestion is that most of the gameport comes with the
soundcard, your soundcard manufacturer website will be also a good
place to search for a JS driver.
I still having an old JS (Mouse System - Joystick man System for
Gameport), it still work happily in my other WinMe system, if I tweek a
little bit it may work with a *ix systems also.
