Hi Good People,

I seem to be experiencing a plague of problems with payware. I recently
wrote about problems with Lagos, but Paul solved that for me. Lagos still
has not responded to any of my emails!

The latest problem is with Flight 1 aircraft. I bought the ATR 72-500 in
the last couple of weeks. It initially worked but a few days ago a got a
message saying Invalid License File. I keep these things well backed up. So
I uninstalled and then reinstalled, but still the same error message. So I
went to the Flight 1 website and asked to download a replacement key file.
That was sent to me, but still the same error message. I emailed Flight 1
and got a reply asking if I had reformatted my HD, or changed hardware. I
am still on the same PC with no reformat nor H/W change.

I emailed them this back a couple of days ago, and await a reply.

My OS is XP Home SP2 and was recently reinstalled (about 2 months ago ...
well before I even bought the ATR) so it should be fairly clean.

I also reloaded the Flight 1 Meridian. On trying to run this, FS2004 hangs.

Pls be clear ... I own this software legally (and all software on my PC).
Does anyone have insight into how the key files work. Do they look at your
H/W. I didn't think so. I am searching for a solution.

regards from Australia

TOB

Hi TOB<

When you re-ran the installer did you get the "Flight 1" purchase
screen and select "re-install"?
Did it then accept the "key" on your system or reject it ?

I had the same problem with Ultimate Traffic.
Solution that you could possibly try.
Make sure that when you extract the executable from the ecommerce file, you
use the default C:\Flight One Software folder. Do not move the folder or
the files anywhere else on your hard drive.Let the installer do its work and
don't tell IT what to do. I think the installer looks for the key in that
folder and if the folder or the key isn't there, you get an error message.
This fixed my problem. Try it if you haven't.

Here is a suggestion. Flight 1 ATR has a dedicated Forum and the
people in Flight one are constantly their monitoring the posts. Just
post you problem there and it will get resolved very quickly

Hi Goran,

Yes, I have the install .exe and the key file all in c:\flight one software,
but alas .....

Like Bob said, try the forum. If that doesn't work, download the installer
again and re install everything from scratch.
I'm on messenger if you want to get in contact that way and we can go
through some things to get it working. I have a few flight 1 add ons and
have experienced a few incidents which have been fixed.
