Re install problems

| Hello, please can anyone suggest a way forward:
I have been running FS2004, with lots of downloaded planes etc, it started
to get a bit slow so I decided on an uninstall and re install the whole
sim.
Now having reinstalled, when I go to run the simulator, I get the splash
screen and a message " Aircraft Initialisation failure, Tiger Moth F4",
which I presume is a legacy of my previous set up. The only option is a
"close" button after which FS2004 shuts down
There is no sign of a Tiger Moth in any of the folders...
I have now un installed and re-installed 3 times, every time I get the
same!!
Any suggestions welcome!
Thank You

Your default flight is set up with the Tiger Moth. You need to add the
Tiger Moth back to your FS9/aircraft/ folder so that the program can find
it when it starts. Then you can change the default flight to use a
different aircraft.
Or you can re-enable the startup menu screen, and create a new flight with a
default aircraft, then save it as the default flight.

| as above or delete the fs9.cfg file and let it re-build on startup
The old one must still be in place. Since it's a new install I would
advise deleting all traces of it.

C\Documents and settings\User name\Aplication Data\Microsoft\FS9
