Got this from avisim last night. The instructions say to copy 9 wav
files to the sound folder and the gauge file to the gauge folder. Then
add the gauge reference to the panel.cfg file for each plane you want
the callouts to work on. I placed the files in those 2 directories and
modified and saved the 74-400's panel.cfg file. I put the reference in
the [Window00] section.

I opened FS9 and took off in the 747-400, came in for a landing and no
callouts. There's GOT to be more to the installation than what's given
isn't there? I don't SEE any new instrument. Besides how does an
instrument know when I'm landing vs flying. Did the writer of this
utility forget to include some vital bit of info? Anyone got it to work?

Yes, I have it running in the 737 & 747.
I used a zip file called rev_unl.zip which also activates the Reverser
Unlocker lights in the 737. If you wish, I will send you the zip direct.

But, the installation instructions I followed are as follows:

Reverser-Unlockers for use with fs2002 & fs2004
===============================================

"Again MS forgot to light up the Reverser Unlockers.
Still the same old "FRUPPIN" panels.....(PM)"

just copy & past the line below with gaugeXX= FPDA_737_Reverser....
at the end of section [Window00] of the panel.cfg file of your B737-400.
================================================
gaugeXX=FPDA_737_Reverser_Warning, 354, 39, 95
================================================

Replace "XX" with the number next to the last in use ( e.g 44 or 45)
The gauge itself goes to the FS....\gauges directory
-=//=-

For those who does not have the Boeing-calout gauge and wav files.
Just copy and past the next line>
======================================
gaugeXX=FPDA_Boeing_Callout, 10, 100
======================================
to the end of "panel.cfg" file of the Boeing 737-400
just below the new gaugeXX=FPDA_737_Reverser_Warning.....
Replace "XX" with the number next to the last in use (e.g.46)
The gauge itself goes to the FS....\gauges directory.
Copy the wav files in your FS....\sound directory

Al, I don't know what happened, but in frustration I closed FS9 and then
reopened and flew the 747. this time as soon as the plane left the
runway I got callouts and get them during landings. I've got no idea
why it didn't work earlier.
