| Since Rob is still AWOL, and the archive hasn't been updated at all this
year, I thought I'd revive one of PW!'s oldest ideas - This Week In The
PokéWars!. If anyone has any webspace and fancy putting them online, I'd be
willing to send some of these for the last year to help people out.
Anyway, without further ado, I present:

This Week In The PokéWars! - 23/10/2005 to 29/10/2005
Events:
The first round of the Fortree Doubles Match drew to a close, with Aeolus
defeating Sherman. The Round Two match-ups were revealed, demonstrating
that Smasher had defeated Vlad. Janine was revealed to be some sort of
agent, and she confronted Smasher, who revealed that the tournament has
something to do with Shadow Pokémon. Schwester Schatten was listening from
outside.
In the fourth match of the second round, Bob - in the guise of "Django" -
was defeated by Aeolus, using his mysterious shadow moves. During the
battle, Jeff was rendered unconscious by Shadow Wave, and Bob found himself
surrounded by some strange light.
Characters:
Keiko briefly met Lute, the mute with a flute, before being cornered by
Lauren and Diego. They offered to return her Minun - as well as a Plusle -
as long as she was willing to help them track down their own stolen Poké
Ball.
Sven and Peabody discovered from Grimlock that Aerie is Doppler's daughter.
Bob, Jeff, Alex and Mimic discussed Aeolus's Pokémon after the first round.
Alex explained that she can sense powerful Dark and Ghost type energies, and
that she felt something similar near Aeolus's Pokémon. Alex also revealed
privately to Bob that she guessed that he was Django. Later on, Bob
informed Mimic that he was worried, and that if Jeff got hurt, he and Aerie
would be livid.
After the events of the fourth match of the second round, Karl visited Jeff
in the hospital, and managed to have a brief conversation with him thanks to
a psychic link created by his Unown.
